I am looking for a nice setup TXT or DVB subtitles setup page
Something like this:
This is already possible in open-images like openATV or openPLI, why not in original dream-OS 2.5?
Now there is only the option text on a "black box or" "drop-shadow"
Options to setup timing, alignment, position and fond size are missing in OE2.5 image
Because nobody has programmed it for dreamOS yet. The interest in it is probably not very big.

Yeah, I recall asking for such a function yeras ago already, especially the ability to choose a font of one's liking.

If it is possible to be done in python only i am interested. I know official doesnt care for oe2.5 owners from years. So we have to care for ourselfs.
Regarding new image... Hmmm there are talks for that from 2 years...nothing so far.
Es bedarf im DreamOS kein solches Plugin ,da zum einen DVB Untertitel nicht geändert werden können sondern nur TXT und zum anderen die TXT Untertitel im Skin selbst definiert werden ,von Fontgröße und Farbe und die Pos. kann man wenn max. mit dem Screen selbst lösen indem man da ne andere Pos. im Skin angibt was aber zu fehlerhafter Anzeige führen würde.
Dann kann man einstellen Black Hintergrund oder Transparent und das reicht normal auch völlig aus.
Und die ganze rumspielerei mit den Subtitel ist völlig uninteressant ,weil wie gesagt man eben TXT Untertitel selbst bestimmen kann im SKin und alles andere wird Hardcoded erledigt und ist nicht beeinflussbar im DreamOS weil es direkt vom GST kommt.
PS. und ja es gibt was neues im DreamOS und ja es dauert halt seine Zeit und es werden auch nicht alle Infos rausgegeben bis es eben soweit ist ,nur weil man nicht alles draußen breittritt ,so wird intern dennoch gearbeitet . 
Maybe there is work internaly, but the information is not given from years. That is not normal. 
Doch ist es ,es werden nunmal keine internen Dinge raus gegeben bis man sagt das sie raus können das DreamOS und Dream sind keine Hobby Bastler bzw. Hobby Software sondern eben eine Firma mit Firmensoftware und eine Firma ist etwas anderes als ein Open Team oder was auch immer ,begreift das doch mal endlich.
Geh mal zu deiner Firma und frag ob du jedem Firmeninterne Dinge erzählen darfst oder geh mal zu anderen Firmen und frag diese nach Firmeninternen Dingen ,die werden dir bestimmt alles erzählen 
.
Achso und denke das kann ich hier auch aufzeigen ,damit sieht man das es eben weitergeht nur nicht alles breitgetreten wird bis eben auch alles fertig ist das man es releasen kann.
Auf dem Bild sieht man das Datum des Image sowie von wann das DreamOS ist und das ist jetzt keine 2 Jahre her sondern 5 Tage 
,es ist also falsch zu denken das nix gemacht wird ,es wird halt erst freigegeben wenn die Firma sagt es ist Releasefähig und kann den Usern gegeben werden so einfach ist das.
We're not talking about company's secret here. We talk about just a plain statements when a new image will go out (or when is planned) for which models...which models are out of support?
What secret are these so to be hidden?! That is normal info every company gives (including mine )
Anyway here is not a place to discuss this and I don't expect such an info to come out officially soon. That's why I said we have to care ourselfs
Oh, and I think I can also show that here, so you can see that things are going on, just not everything is kicked around until everything is ready for release.

That is oe2.6 Dreambox Two. In that thread is asked for oe2.5 for which nothing is going on from october 2021

Es wurde doch schon mehrfach geschrieben das es bei OE2.5 nicht wirklich weitergegen wird ,OE2.5 wird für die alte Hardware benutzt und dort kommt nix neues bzw. nix großes mehr ,alles über OE2.5 ist für die neue Amlogic Hardware für die es neue Software geben wird und wie oft soll man das denn noch schreiben bis es ankommt ?
Die Softwareentwicklung geht in Richtung neue Hardware und somit ist für jede andere alte Hardware da nicht mehr viel zu erwarten ,da muss man kein Prophet sein um das langsam aber sicher zu verstehen, denn soviel Kapazität ist einfach nicht vorhanden um sich um alte und neue Softwareentwicklung zu kümmern und zum anderen kann man auf der neuen Hardware ganz andere Sachen und auch ganz anderst programmieren als auf der alten Hardware.

It has already been written several times that OE2.5 will not really be passed on, OE2.5 is used for the old hardware and there is nothing new or big anymore, everything about OE2.5 is for the new Amlogic hardware there will be new software and how often do you have to write it until it arrives?
Software development is moving in the direction of new hardware and therefore there is not much to be expected for any other old hardware, you don't have to be a prophet to slowly but surely understand this, because there is simply not that much capacity to deal with old and new software development and on the other hand you can program completely different things on the new hardware than on the old hardware.
We all can assume things. But serious companies have official statements. If you want check Microsoft, Google or whatever serious software company you want and will see there are official statements for out of support.
P.S. Besides they dont have their own flags hip product on their own site.... How serious....

Nur weil es mit der DreamOS Entwicklung unter OE2.5 seit einer Weile nicht weitergeht bzw. nix neues kam ,wer hindert denn die User /Programmierer weiterhin für das OE2.5 Plugins zu entwickeln?
Weder Dream noch sonst wer und es wird ja weiterhin auch was Plugins und Skins angeht noch neue Sachen oder Update geben.
Es ist ja auch nur der enigma2 Core den man nicht mehr verändern kann seit OE2.0 ,es können aber weiterhin Python basierende Dinge programmiert und eingebaut werden.
Aber nein ihr wollt ja Dinge die ihr bei den Open oder so seht wo da das e2 für sämtliche BoxenTypen usw. gepatcht wird um dort Dinge realisieren zu können ,so geht nunmal Dream nicht vor (zum Glück sag ich da nur) und das wird auch nie bei der original Software von Dream so werden ,da bin ich 100% überzeugt von und bin froh darüber.
Wie aber schon geschrieben ,so ein Subtitel Setup bringt einem im DreamOS 0 aber 0 ,bedeutet es ist Sinnfrei ,da DreamOS mit den Einstellungen dort 0 anfangen kann .

Neither Dream nor anyone else and there will still be new things or updates as far as plugins and skins are concerned.
It's only the enigma2 core that you can't change anymore since OE2.0, but Python-based things can still be programmed and installed.
But no, you want things that you see at the Open or something like that, where the e2 is patched for all box types etc. in order to be able to realize things there, that's not how Dream comes first (luckily I'm just saying that) and that will happen never be like that with the original software from Dream, I'm 100% convinced of it and I'm happy about it.
But as already written, such a subtitle setup brings you 0 in DreamOS but 0, means it is meaningless, since DreamOS can start with the settings there 0.
Plugins can be written yes, but they can not fix issues that are still present in the core or drivers.
Txt is another story... Every user has its own taste. Thats why want different things. But if the stuff are hardcoded in the enigma2 core obviously nothing can be done.
A simple thing is display dvb subtitle yellow instead of white. That is possible in dvb subtitle specs but not supported by DM.
The truth is lack of support or extensive API limit users to use full capacity of the hardware or to use their own preferences.
That is what bothers me.

Die Frage ist wie hoch ist der Aufwand und Nutzen ,desweiteren kann man DreamOS nicht mit Open vergleichen womit keiner wirklich sagen kann was im DreamOS Kern alles nötig wäre und ob dann noch vieles andere mit angesehen werden muss.
Und ehrlich nur wegen DVB Untertitel weil man die in einer anderen Farbe möchte (wobei diese e automatisch die Farben bekommen und unterschiedlich farbig sind jenachdem wer spricht) ,sorry aber da sehe ich viele andere Baustellen als wichtiger an und nicht das man sich wegen sowas noch mehr Baustellen und Schwierigkeiten bereitet.
Und was TXT Untertitel angeht die sind ja skinbar in Größe und Farbe.
Klar sehen das die unterschiedlichsten User auch unterschiedlich (ist auch ok ) aber Dream arbeitet nunmal nicht so und die DreamOS Software ist auch nicht auf alle möglichen Sachen ausgelegt (und wird es auch nie) ,dort wird halt anderst an die Sache rangegangen als bei Open usw. und das muss man akzeptieren.
