Wenn es geht ist es gut und du hast alles richtig gemacht.

Wenn du dann VPN wieder aktivierst und es dann nicht mehr geht, bist du dir auch sicher an was es liegt

Probier mal die Google DNS Server (8.8.8.8). Ich hatte auch Probleme.

1. VPN Verbindung deaktivieren
2. Cache löschen

...dann geht es wieder. Und eigentlich es ist besser FritzBox als VPN-Server zu benutzen

Die Frage ist wohl eher wozu überhaupt VPN, außer man möchte gerade auf regionlocked Content zugreifen wollen.
