Dm 520 world wide problem

  • Hi every body.
    In the first i hope to introduce my self
    Ahmed habib
    Dream.multimedia dealer in egypt.


    I have 5 recivers from dm 520
    With th same problem.


    2 are new.
    3 in client use.


    All have same problem.


    When we need to setup new os.
    Recivers still in red lamp
    Conected via dcc . but still in black screen
    I tried.
    1. Update rescue
    2. Downgrade it.
    3. Make new image all. Stable gemeni. Dreamelite etc
    Same problem


    When we flash it in open source. It works.
    And opens
    But tunner is empty
    With 2 tuner a and b are emty .
    I know dm 520 is. 1 tuner but that's which written .


    Note. Dream multimeda agent in middle east says that dream multimeda doesn't send him spare parts . To change mother board for our client


    So they are upset and shouting all the time.
    They are making fb campaine against dreambox.
    And called us as robbers. Dishonest. Tricky alllllll

    From what I see, except for the name this distributor is not related to Dream Property in any way. So no you didn't buy these boxes directly from DP but just from some other company (distributor). Anyway you don't know where they got their boxes from, but then contact them. Or get in direct contact to DP Support (check their website).
