Dvb-T Snr, Agc, Ber

  • Can anyone, who using terrestrial tuner in DM_8000, confirm, that SNR and AGC shown in strange way? I know, that signal itself is strong, but SNR and AGC shown 0% (0db). Probably it's driver problem?!

  • This is true since ages and not limited to the DM8000.
Seems as if noone is really interessted in providing meaningful values.

  • Seems this problem does not occur very often. It might be helpful to provide more information (e.g. indoor/outdoor antenna, amplification yes/no, receiving region etc.)

  • Antenna is outdoor, without amplification. TV with digital tuner shows, that signal is good. Indeed it may be caused of H.264/MPEG-4 AVC standard. This is, what I have in my region.

  • So, who are these people, software developers, who have to know about this problem? Is there any direct contact or they read this forum?

  • Seems to be related to the Skin!
Due to Rabiator666s screenshot, I used a different skin and got
a value different from "0" (to be precise, the value changes from
"0%" to "24db" and vice versa).
The default skin from Dream still shows "0".
