Box startet mit HDMI-Kabel nicht

    ich habe folgendes, ähniches problem:
    wenn die box länger im standby ist (2h+) wird nach dem wiedereinschalten über HDMI kein ton übertragen, bild einwandfre, ton kommt via scart und optical, nur via HDMI eben nicht (original image + newnigma2 image).
    wenn ich dann so wie beschrieben alle HDMI inputs am TV durchcycle ist der ton wieder da :winking_face:


    TV: Pana TX-P46S10E

    habe diese woche 2 dieser boxen hier gehabt.


    die 1ste läuft reibungslos, alle vorhandenen images laufen, und ton über HDMI läuft auch


    die 2te von heute tut es aber nicht.


    - Image welches drauf war, und das von der startseite/downloads


    kein booten beim eingestecktem HDMI kabel wenn TV an ist, und auch kein Ton über HDMI


    - experimental Image


    box bootet zwar normal, aber kein Ton über HDMI


    Ton über optischen Ausgang und Scart gehen ohne Probleme.


    Jetzt mal die Frage: Ist es vielleicht doch nicht ein Hardware Problem ? Soll ich die Box jetzt lieber umtauschen, oder auf neue Firmware warten ?

    Zurück damit zu DMM. Ärgere Dich nicht damit rum. DMM hat ja schon etwas Erfahrung im Boxentausch...

    So the issue is not genenric but only some boxes fail to output on HDMI. I think I will also send mine back, I tried the box on two tv's but on both HDMI fails... :pouting_face:

    Yep, I had one of those boxes, too. Tried it on 3 different TV's without success.
    Send it back to your dealer or to DMM.

    I have changed from [Moderator] Image is in violation of the Boardrules [/Moderator] image and now my HDMI works [Moderator] Link is in violation of the Boardrules [/Moderator]! I do not have any sound over HDMI yet, but the picture is there. Seems to be a software problem afterall... :smiling_face:

    Again, I would recommend to send it back.


    I had the sound problem with other images, too.
    Procedure to bypass the "not starting at all" was, to connect the HDMI cable after a couple of seconds.
    I was able to get a picture, but no sound.

    Homers, you are right, no sound when using the HDMI output.


    I think dream fixed the HDMI issue in the latest firmware, according the the changelog of v2.8.0:

    Guten Morgen, ich hänge mich einfach mal an diesen etwas älteren Thread ran :smiling_face:


    Ich betreibe eine 500HD mit einem HDMI-DVI- Kabel an einem Samsung 21" TFT Bildschirm (4:3) und habe ca 1x pro Woche auch den hier beschriebenen Fehler wenn ich die Box abends in den Deep Standby versetze und morgens wieder per Fernbedienung aufwecke. Wenn die Box nicht startet blinkt LED der Box vielleicht 5x pro Sekunde grün und ich muß die Box am Schalter aus- und wieder einschalten damit sie normal startet. In den A/V- Einstellungen der Box habe ich als Videoausgabe HDMI-PC mit der Auflösung 640x480 eingestellt. Ich habe je ein Protokoll wenn der Fehler auftritt sowie von einem Start ohne Fehler angehängt.


    Ich kann mit diesem Fehler leben, was mich allerdings weitaus mehr stört und vielleicht damit zusammen hängt ist, dass ich nur mit der 640x480er Auflösung ein Bild bekomme. Stelle ich 800x600 ein sehe ich das Bild für 2-3 Sekunden mit einer rosa Pixelreihe am oberen Rand bis es für ca 2 Sekunden verschwindet. Anschließend beginnt dieses an/aus des Bildes wieder. Wenn ich es mit der Auflösung 1024x768 versuche (die der Monitor auch darstellen kann) bekomme ich überhaupt kein Bild.


    Gegengetestet habe ich es mit meinem 24" Hauptbildschirm (16:10), angeschlossen über HDMI-HDMI- Kabel. 640x480 ist ok, 800x600 mit rosa Streifen oben wie beim 21" Bildschirm (siehe angehängtes Bild) und bei 1024x768 kommt ein Bild, es ist aber "verzerrt" (siehe angehängtes Bild).


    Es wäre sehr erfreulich wenn ich auf dem 21" TFT zumindest eine höhere Auflösung nutzen könnte um mal etwas mehr als nur SD skins zu sehen...

    My brand new Dreambox 500HD is connected via HDMI cable to my Onkyo S506 receiver and the Onkyo is connected with my Samsung 46C650 LCD TV.


    If I am turning off (standby mode) my dreambox, onkyo, samsung lcd, then I can't wake up my Dreambox 500HD after a couple of hours from the REMOTE control, only from front panel.

    I`m owner of dm500HD &Samsung led UE40ES7000 also have same issue like others guys hire
    in jul 2012 i change one DM500HD with HDMI problems or black screen yesterday second box not working on my TV
    but working on nachbar LG-TV
    I flash new image, new cabels etc noting happend but with scart DM500HD working in SD format like nothing hapend
    I will try to make log & send it hire,what further ..
