Schade wenn du das so siehst Reichi. Mir klingt noch der Satz von dir im Ohr "Die API sollte stabil sein, damit andere sich drauf verlassen können".

Aber es gibt nicht nur 3rd Party Software die damit nicht umgehen kann. Zumindest der von mir im WebIf eingebaute RSS Feed mit den Videos benötigt hiermit auch eine Überarbeitung.

Ich finde das gerade die XML API ein Alleinstellungsmerkmal des E2-WebIf´s ist und wie geschaffen ist für 3rd Party Software, nur dann darf man nicht einfach eben mal was ändern (der Grund für diese Änderung leuchtet mir ein und ist auch ganz sinnvoll denk ich) und sich hinstellen und sagen "Die werden das schon bei sich anpassen". Eine gewisse Abwärtskompatibilät ist da schon angebracht find ich.

Warum? Ganz einfach:
Um einen Kanal zu streamen kann man auch die Streaming-URL direkt eingeben. D.h. jeder der will kann sich einfach ein m3u file im temp ordner auf dem pc suchen dann alle darin enthaltenen Kanäle streamen...
Beim Zappen könnte man es zugegebener Maßen wieder einbauen.

mit der Streaming-Url hast du Natürlich recht.
Aber nicht nur das Streamen, sondern auch das Umschalten auf XXX sender über Webif Sollte Geschützt sein.(genauso wie mit der Fernbedinung)

tested the new one (enigma2-plugin-extensions-webinterface_2.6cvs20090225-r0_mipsel.ipk) but unfortunatelly "add/save" button in timers tab still doesnt work in internet explorer (cache cleared)

it tells you that your enigma2 version is to old for this plugin. update your image first and than it will works (enigma2 should be equal or younger then 20090217)

so we see, you don't use a dmm image - why do you ask for support here and not contact the imagebuilder. (if you set a gst-plugin as dependency, it should be also on update-feed or you'll get error messages like this)

yes, but your error is caused by a third-party image not by the web if. mayby it helps when your "stealing" the missed gst-plugin from experimental-feed and install it manually befor updating your image.
