Shouldn't you say:
make -f Makefile-opendreambox image
and that should take care of it.
You get image files in build/tmp/deploy/images/ directory.
Like: build/tmp/deploy/images/dreambox-image-dm600pvr-20070428193632.nfi
And that you should be able to flash dream with. At least I think so...
haven't got my box yet... 
2 ways, a dirty hack way and a clean and good way:
dirty hack:
unpack the sources, make your changes and repack them again
clean and good:
make a diff, add it to the according .bb file and build.
also 2 ways :
the correct way : build a package (e.g. tracer.bb) that does your changes and include this in dreambox-image.bb
the very dirty way (I do this so) : in the file .../openembedded/classes/rootfs_ipk.bbclass find the function real_do_rootfs.
At the end of this function call a customize-script. This script can do changes in rootfs before this was packed in the image.
