Hello!Why Ethernet speed so low with my 1000Mbit router?Only 12 MB/sec(100mbit) file transfer.Cable link cat.6 .
P.S DM 900 Wlan USB stick link is OK 14-20 MB/sec.

I think speed is limited by processor power.
12 MB/sec isn't bad. Maybe nfs is a little bit faster than samba / cifs
Greetings,
ikarus
This has absolutely nothing to do with processor power, I think his link speed is wrongly detected by autosensing, he can try to set it to fixed 1Gbps links speed and then try again. ~500MBit/s are no problem with this box.
Hi dhwz,
do you realy have a transfer speed of 62,5 MB/sec???
This is realy fast, i think.
I could not test it now, but i believe, i get also not more than 12 MB.
But my Fritzbox is slower than 6 MB/sec
Greetings,
ikarus
Uhm yes
I'm already getting ~50MB/s with DM7080
But we are talking of 50 Megabytes/sec, not 50 Megabit/sec?
ikarus
Yes sure.
ok, thanks.
It seems, i have to improve my network performance
Greetings,
ikarus
I got 523 MBit/s = 65,4 MB/s here with my 7080 in terms of network throughput from my local server.
However, that doesn't really help villa at all, does it?

Could be some power saving options enabled on your router that is preventing a Gig link.
Maybe you could play around with thoses settings or try another router or switch. Also trying another cable might help.
QoS enabled maybe?

My router and my PC network card both 1gb,I tried 2 cables...12 mb/sec...

What can I do?
Read his first post and check if auto-negotiation detected your network as 100MBit instead of 1000MBit
Router Model?
Stock Firmware? DDWRT or Openwrt? Another Switch between DM900 and Router?
Your PC has Gigabit? Maybe your PC just has 100Mbit.

Router zyxel Stock firmware,no switches,PC 1gb card ,router to PC lan is Ok 1gb
Zyxel model?
telnet to your dm900 and
apt-get update && apt-get install ethtool
ethtool eth0
Look for
Speed: 1000Mb/s
Duplex: Full
ZyXEL Keenetic U II MT7621A 880mghz 2 core
telnet:upt-get command not found
apt-get update && apt-get install ethtool
ethtool eth0
have you checked if "IntelliQoS" is enabled in your router?

I did it.
IntelliQoS is disabled
Router determines 1000 mbit/sec connection,but best result is 24 mb/sec(~200 mbit) only.
apt-get update && apt-get install ethtool
ethtool eth0
output is like:
Speed: 1000Mb/s
?
Which Disk do you use on dm900? USB Stick oder HDD or SSD Drive?
Well, i don't know where your bottleneck is.. maybe i get another idea tomorrow morning when i look at the bottom of my coffee cup
