i guess DM500HD-S2 is a clonebox, if you google this you find clones
every 500HD has an DVB-s2 Tuner inside, there is just one model

But the check control with the DMM SERVER says that the box is original, bought from store WEBHALLEN in Stockholm

Hi,
if you are not sure abut wether your box is genuine or not, you can usually simply have a look at the price an tell the truth.
Clones are usually massively cheaper than any genuine model. -
The logic behind that approach is slightly flawed, though, Reichi.
I am sure since the emergence of the "original sim", a lot of clones are being sold as originals at original prices.
Just like back in the DM500 days - when a lot of legit buyers only learned they bought a clone after a certain time bomb exploded

So, for all of you that says not a gennuine lDM500HD-S2, here is the tag at the bottom of the box and dream multimedia has confirmed to me that this is a a gennuine DM500HD-S2

It's a genuine dreambox and all 500hd are basically the same :).

I thought the DM500HD-v2 and the DM800HDse-v2 simply come with the new RC10 Remote Control and that's it!?!
