I have been wanting to take my TV experience to the next level and heard about the DreamBox. I live in Australia and currently have Foxtel (cable TV).
I just have a couple quick questions as I am completely new to all of this.
1) How much is a DreamBox and where can I buy one that will work in Australia?
And..
2) What is required of me to get the DreamBox working in Australia?
I hope you ca give me a hand as I can't wait to become a DreamBox user!

1) How much is a DreamBox and where can I buy one that will work in Australia?
This depends on the model you choose, as their prices are way different. DM8000 should be most expensive, for example, and 500HD the cheapest one.
If you have standard DVB-C down under, any Dreambox with such a tuner should work for you.
You can have a look on the DreamMultimedia website to see a list of "official" sellers of Dreamboxes. With buying a Dreambox at one of them, you are minimizing the risk of accidentally getting a clone or fake Box. Unfortunately, there are many of these out there, and you really wont have fun with them.
2) What is required of me to get the DreamBox working in Australia?
This depends on your DVB-signal, especially encryption and so on.

foxtel is using NDS encryption system which is not officially supported.
