When I tried run WebTV with last Firefox under Ubuntu 11.04 , firefox imediately crash.

Well... there's a pretty simple Problem... the maintainer of the browser plugin left the vlc team quite some time ago (over a year, i think).
That's why e.g. switching to Fullscreen is broken for a long time now....
If anyone has an alternative to offer i'd gladly take it! -

If you use OpenPli, then install the PLI plugin "Streaminterface"
Then go with webbrowser to http//dreamboxIP:40080 And select channel. Enjoy.I prefer to use Xine as plugin in firefox(xine-plugin), works also better with webstreaming. (I use Kubuntu 11.04 64bit)
