HDMI Connection Lost mit 3.0.3

    Hi Ghost,
    sollte man für den Debug-Treiber eine Platte eingebaut haben?
    Ich habe keine drin - hat der Treiber mir dann nach ein paar Stunden den kompletten Speicher vollgeschrieben?

    Ghost: sure, I'll try to reproduce problem in the evening and will post another log.
    Fact is that often when bug occurs it is so fast that I can't make the log in time before video returns to normal.
    Maybe there is a way to make a longer log...?

    hmm i dont think that your problem is the same problem that other people have.


    Can you tell me what exactly is your Problem?


    And if it only appears on live TV .. on Playback.. it is deepending on the configured output format? 720p vs 1080i?


    And if this Problem a new Problem? Which was the latest firmware without your Problem?


    In the log file i dont see anything..

    I think that I simply can't log this bug, until it occurs more often. As now, I try to change channel and sometimes screen lost sync (all disappear) for a moment, but when I start the log, bug is already gone. I mean: I would need a more extended logging.


    However I'm pretty sure that bug is HDMI connection lost because I had the same bug with previous kernel change and you fixed that more that one year ago. Effects are the same, screen sometimes (or constantly, it is completely random) disappears... just like a PC monitor when one changes resolution, it resync after one second.


    For me this bug occurs only in 1080i mode (no difference if 50 or 60 Hz). In 720p no sync lost.


    However as now I am watching regularly TV, when problem will occur again I'll try to make other logs.



    UPDATE: Of course all this evening went without glitches... Murphy law... :face_with_rolling_eyes:

    Danke für deine Bemühung zur Fehler Behebung. Habe gerade upgedatet und werde berichten ob es stabil läuft. Hatte auch seit Montag keinen Ausfall mehr zu verzeichnen und konnte somit auch keinen neuen Log schicken. Hast du noch andere Logs bekommen um den möglichen Fehler zu lokalisieren?

    Sorry for being late, I was out of town and couldn't try new drivers. I upgraded yesterday and, since now, problem seems gone!

    Hallo zusammen,


    ich habe mit meiner Dreambox 800 folgendes Problem, bin aber nicht sicher, ob das zur gleichen Problematik wie hier beschrieben gehört.


    Anbindung der Box über HDMI an Philipps TV. Aktuell Firmware 3.0.3 mit Updates vom 27.3.11 drauf.


    - Immer wieder bleibt der Ton für ca. 5 Sekunden weg, kommt danach aber wieder ohne irgendwelche Aktionen von mir.
    - Das Bild läuft in dieser Zeit normal weiter.
    - Über SCART tritt das Problem nicht auf.
    - Problem kommt meistens nach längerem Betrieb der Box.


    Sollte mit einem Online Update nicht der Treiber vom 09.03.11 eigentlich mit eingespielt werden ?

    Problem scheint am Philips TV zu liegen. Es gibt ein Firmwareupdate für den TV.

    Dein Problem wird ein anderes sein. Deine beschriebenen Probleme haben nix mit dem wahren "HDMI Lost" zu tun, da hier das ganze Bild inkl. Ton weg ist (Anbindung zum Fernseher verloren)


    Leider kann ich dir hier auch nicht weiterhelfen mit deinem Problem

    ich denke, das Problem ist noch nicht ganz gegessen.
    seit ein paar Tagen habe ich auch das Problem mit der HDMI Schnittstelle.
    Es genügt schon die Box kurz in den Standby zu schalten oder den Fernseher kurz in den Standby zu schalten.
    Ich schaue bereits täglich nach Updates, aber bislang gibts es nichts neues.


    Box ist eine DM800 HD PVR und Fernseher ist ein Samsung LE40C67M9S1

    Was haste denn für ein firmware/image auf der box drauf? (Menu -> Informationen -> Über)


    Sind da schon die neuen Treiber von Mitte März drinne?


    Für Release Images gibt es glaube ich keine online-updates, zumindest nicht immer, da muss man firmware/image neu flashen wenn man was neues will.


    Bei Experimental Images gibts eigentlich täglich updates ...

    Theorie ist, wenn man alles weiß, aber nichts funktioniert.
    Praxis ist, wenn alles funktioniert aber niemand weiß warum.
