  • P(icture)i(n)g(raphics) in screens dont scale down

    I asked this question about a year ago and still it does not work to have a Picture in graphics "pig" in a skin other then the ChannelSelect screen.

    I see in the renderer Pig.py that it says "fix me" at line 23: self.Position = self.instance.position() # fixme, scaling!


    So looks like its an known issue. Did some testing with another way of coding my self but for me it looks like the issue is not in the renderer?

    Child and parent screens seem to work just fine so looks like its there the issue is maybe?


    If you create a pig for lets say main menu and setup screen. The main menu on first load works fine. So when you then open the setup screen all scales up.

    But here comes the hint. When pressing exit button to go back to main menu for a very short time on exit the pig scales down and fits in the setup screen.

    When now the main menu is open again the pig is broken. But the same fenomen happen when you again press ok button to go back to setup screen. The pig scales down and fit the main menu.


    Accully i try to take a screenshot with the webinterface and there the pig is broken but in reality its accully working... strange...

    Its just a guess from me if they are to releas a whole new series of images for many Boxes they also need to edit the forum.

    Thats easier todo in maintenance mode..

    I guess they are about to do a new release of the image and add Dreambox Two UHD so they are probably re doing the whole forum at the same time

    Forum is for the moment in maintenance modus

    I totaly agree with you onlydb its all about how its being said.


    So the proper answer to the first question from the thread poster would not be.. Post in public your credentional for your IPTV or anything else.

    It would be, If you trust me please send me the url on private message so i can investigate whats going on.


    But yes good work have been done and the problem is solved so thanks for not sending this out the door :smiling_face:

    Maybe all of you who have been pressing negative (Thumbs Down) on thread starters post have learned a lesson this time.

    There was an issue and it could of cause be fixed when developers and dhwz put their minds at work.


    Also hope i hope that some of the admins cleans up this thread so other users dont have to read through all this mambo jambo crap to come to the accual solution of this thread, including this post :winking_face:

    My IPTV comes from my CableTV over fiber provider "Telenor" and they use this codec but all works just fine for me it was the other guys i was thinking of

    Since lots of IPTV from middle east is named HEVC for 4K transmitted channels because its ripped but still a regular ts stream :winking_face:


    So think this Thread is about closed now and we can conclude we are dealing with issues not supported by DP :winking_face:

    Accully some else meantion in another thread that they hade some issu with HEVC Satellite channels on Thor 0.8 west.

    It was 4K channels like Nasa UHD 4K heartige and some others that stop working after latest update.

    So might be some substance in this.

    Is there accully any FTA IPTV ?? but in anyway how do you create your boquets, often they need to be updated since urls can change.

    and of cause if this happen at the same time as your box gets an update its easy to think thats the problem.

  • I need help with EPG

    First of all dhwz i did not claim the plugin was a OE-A plugin i just mention it has been around for sometime for OE-A.

    Since thoose who are asking questions seems to be used to OE-A gave that hint and also asked if there was a DreamOs version.


    You gave us an answer and in the sametime informed the source of the plugin :smiling_face:

  • I need help with EPG

    First of all do a full reboot to be surten you have loaded all changes to EMC

    Then If you know what channel holds the epg stream you must zap to that channel for downloading new epg.

    Also delete the epg.db file from /etc/enigma2 to be sure you have the lates epg.
