Yes I did, default was "automatic" (it didn't work) then I changed it to manual, it didn't work either.

I simply restarted enigma2 after changing the transponder Time setting to NO (and saved this option).

When the Dreambox has been restarted, the transponder Time setting is back again to YES.

Are there information's on the web about the pluging and how to configurate it ?

    Hello,

Plugins is now installed, I changed the Transponder Time setting to NO.
    I saved this information.

if I restarted the Dreambox (OFF/ON), transponder Time setting is set automatically to YES and the time is still 01:00.
If the Dreambox is in stand by, the Transponder Time setting is still NO.

I give up but thank you very much for your help.

    Hello,

I use the Dreambox 4K just to get the IPTV programs.I don’t have any satellite dish as it is forbidden where I live.

Everytime the Dreambox crashes or when I restart it, the system loses the date and hour (it always starts at 01:00) and rarely start with the correct time (Brussels).

Is it a solution to get the correct date and time automatically ?

Thank you very much for your help.

It would be a lot easier, instead of flashing new software every time, when you just run a software update.

The result would be the same, except that the plugins also stay preserved.

True but does it install the "unstable" version aswell ?

    Thank you for your reply.

    Hello,

    I own a Dreambox UHD 900.
Everytime a firmware is available, I like to update the Dreambox.
The only problem is that I have to install again the plugins not included in the original configuration.
Although the upload should keep the previous configuration, plugins are deleted.

Is there a way to keep the plugins installed in a previous version when you update the Dreambox ?

Thank you very much for your help and comments.

You should update your image. This was fixed already.

I used the last unstable image: I still have the problem.
I used the last stable image: I still have the problem.
I don't know if the last experimental image has this problem corrected.

The problem is when a new image is available, we don't know which improvements include this one.

Again, the other solution was to use the settings in English and it works perfectly

Sorry, in my case I only have /media/net and that's all...

It's not really difficult to create this directory.
Using DCC, you select the directory Media.
With the right click on the mouse and the cursor in the Media directory (see the picture), you select new folder and you create the directory HDD.
Next time your Dreambox crashes, you will find the log in the HDD directory.

    I hope it helps.

I installed the last unstable firmware thinking that they found a solution to this problem (i saw this thread was closed) but it doesn't work yet

The information's about the network configuration must be certainly included in one of the files of the Dreambox.
The idea was to change the settings using DCC.

Unfortunately, I don't know which arguments to fill in the fields.

    The log says:

About my configuration, I think the the DNS value is the IP address of my router (192.168.1.1) as the Dreambox is directly
    connected to it.

As a newbie in the world of the Dreambox, this is not easy to find a solution to this problem but I think there are
many experts in this forum who will be able to help me, thank you in advance for your understanding.

Usually, it is possible to manually assign it by pressing the yellow key. Are you sure that your flash is not readonly? You can check this by creating a timer. If this is successful then your flash is writabl

A very interesting information, thank you.

Do you mean you choose the factory reset of the Dreambox and then you press the yellow key as soon as you are selecting the network settings ?
