Hello,

You mean the default record directory?
It's defined in Tools.Directories as SCOPE_HDD.
yes, but for example i would like to change it, can you tell me ? where ?
I looked at InfoBarGenerics.py but there is not this path...
Yes, but SCOPE_HDD is not only used in recording thing... I suppose, change of that can influance for other things. So it is better "change by hand" somewhere directly where is function to record...
Am I right ?
There are many types of records (Direct Recordings, Timers and Timeshift) - depending on your reference to InfoBarGenerics I'd guess your talking about direct recordings - in that case just change the call of "resolveFilename(SCOPE_HDD)" to your favourite location.
But afair (and a quck grep I made) SCOPE_HDD is only used as default record dir (and of course out of obvious reasons as default playback dir in the MoviePlayer) - hence the folder "movie" is part of the path - so changing it should be sane. Why do you think this isn't so?
Please also notice that in current CVS the default directory for direct recordings is the last active directory in the MoviePlayer and for new Timers its the last selected timer destination path so changing the default might be overriden by user settings.
Thank You ritzmo.
I have already made tests, it is immpossiable to even add code to
Tools/Directories.py
if You add for example
from Components.config import *
enigma2 doesn't start - why ??
here you are:
executing main
setIoPrio best-effort level 3 ok
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "/usr/lib/enigma2/python/mytest.py", line 6, in <module>
from Tools.Profile import profile, profile_final
File "/usr/lib/enigma2/python/Tools/Profile.py", line 3, in <module>
from Directories import resolveFilename, SCOPE_CONFIG
File "/usr/lib/enigma2/python/Tools/Directories.py", line 5, in <module>
from Screens.Screen import *
File "/usr/lib/enigma2/python/Screens/Screen.py", line 1, in <module>
from Tools.Profile import profile
ImportError: cannot import name profile
Alles anzeigen
Why it debug sth connected with Profile ?? no idea
Regards
Can't you wait 24h for an reply?
For everyone else, here's what I sent you in reply to the exact same text you sent me via PM:
ZitatMy guess would be a circular dependency (eg something on your way to config imports Tools.Direcotires again)...
And why you're importing * anyways - you most likely only want config
And its NOT impossible to add code to Tools.Directories - I did this in a patch a few weeks ago
And it might be noteworthy that you're most likely trying to make the default record directory configurable (that would at least explain the import) - better give too much than too few information

Wäre echt toll für all diejenigen ohne interne Platte...
Danke schon mal
Edit:
Habs gefunden;) Muß man erst mal drauf kommen das man die OK Taste drücken muß.
Jetzt kommt aber immer Timeshift nicht möglich???
