usb wlan sticks using the Zydas ZD1211B and RAlink RT73 chipsets are supported.
wasn't there somewhere a lista of suported hardware? iv'e read somewhere that all wireless sticks that are suported in debian would work on dm800... or something like that i don't remember anymore where i saw that. i think i was a link to a page that has something todo with ubuntu LOL
Have you considered adding support for rt2870 or ath9k to the dreambox 800 kernel? Having 802.11n support would allow for streaming HD over wireless....
Thanks

for most of the HD Content I have seen for now 802.11g would do a nice job..
Well, in general madwifi drivers should work afaik.
But they are not explicitly supported (at least not yet).
Basically you should:
1. Look if there is any Linux Driver for the Chip u want to use
2. Look if anyone has already compiled the driver for the dm800
3.
3.1 Yes -> use it
3.2 No
3.2.1 -> do it yourself
3.2.2 -> wait for someone to do it (for you)
I have Wifi conected with USB and no problem with the [Moderator] Image is in violation of the Boardrules [/Moderator] Image
I have found drivers
But when i try to activate wlan configuration enigma2 crashes
Can you help us?

Here you are the crash log
The guy that posted drivers told that could not use GUI
But without wlan plugin GUI i don't know how to activate Wlan configuration.
Anyway i think support for N wireless would be greatly appreciated.
i'm currentlly using a G wireless client ant transfer rate is 1.5 Mbytes/sec
You can imagine how much it takes to move an HD movie from DM800 to my laptop
Thanks
