Reading German Threads, FYI.

    Translation, fyi:-


    I find it useful to use Babelfish to translate the pages, http://babelfish.altavista.com/tr
    just copy & paste the url, select the 'from & Too' language options and let Babel do the rest.
    It's not word perfect, but certainly helps a lot when your looking for certain information,
    you can use it to translate a word from English to German, (such as 'power supply' or 'fan') then use the search function on this site to find threads on what your looking for by copying and pasting the translated words from Babel to the search facility here, and then use Babel to translate the result pages.



    BTW, I don't have a DreamBox yet, but have been reading up in this forum, and am waiting (like many others here) for the 8000.

    Enter www.dream-multimedia-tv.de/board as the webpage at http://www.google.com/language_tools or at http://babelfish.yahoo.com/ and then choose german to English and the entiere forum home page will be translated and this is sticky, meaning if you click on a subpage/topic it will also be translated and so on.


    The word by word translation of babelfish might not be perfect, but that's life unless you want to start learing German :smiling_face:
