I have a lot of problems with changing volume within a movie. I have no problems looking at films with subtitles because I can turn down the sound for the whole film, but when I have to listen to a film to be able to follow the story, I constantly am changing the volume to be able to hear what they say, and seconds later I have to turn down the sound because there is an explosion or extremely loud music in the film. On my DVD player I can set a compression factor, so the silent parts are made louder and the loud parts are dimmed. This makes watching a movie much more pleasant.

Is there a plug-in for the DB7000 ? or could this become a build-in feature in the future?
