In 800SE i can play HD avi files but In 8000 it doesn't work. I'm trying the same file (only sound is working in 8000). where can be issue? I'm using latest oe2.0 images in both devices.

The 8000 chip does not support old DivX HD-Format. Only the new one based on H.264.

Are you sure? I think that there is some limitation in simlink or gstreamer libraries.
Can DMM allow all video formats in gstreamer based on some parameter In config file? Than we can test it

Oh no. Not again.
The DM is NOT a PC and compared to a current PC, it is
horrably slow at computing.
No matter how clever one codes, the box will NEVER be
able to decode HD in software. -
Of course there is a big difference: They have different processors!
And the one in the 8000 simply doesn't "know" this kind of format.
