Hi, I'm thinking of compiling/installing VLC client on my DM7025, so that I can from my PC stream DVDs to my DM7025. VLC (Video LAN Client) can be found in Linux version, but it needs and X-windows.
How can I redirect the stream output to Enigma2 so that I can show it on the TV screen?
Also if I want to stream some text message to my dm7025 so that it will be shown in the TV, how can I fo that? Is there a standard interface I should write to?

Both things are not possible now. You'll need to write your own vlc player as a plugin for enigma2, as it's done on the old boxes with enigma1
Can I get access to the version made for enigma1, I means it will probably be much easier than doing everything from crash.
We can I find the source for it?

Is this the old one with enigma1? I can see that somebody have already made a movieplayer plugin for enigma2 and it is included in some images, any body knows where I can find the source for that one?
