Manche HD Skins bringen Box zum stocken ! Fernbedienung reagiert träge !!

    hi,


    ich habe bei vielen (nicht allen) HD Skins eine größere CPU Last, obwohl ich dachte das der 400Mhz Prozessor in der 500HD stark genug wär um alles ultraflüssig darzustellen !
    Daraus resultieren dann manche Stocker wenn ich auf der Fernbedienung die Listen schnell durchgehn möchte :frowning_face:



    Meine Frage, liegt das jetzt an der schwarzen DM500 Fernbedienung oder an den aktuellen FB Treibern ?? Ich möchte irgendwie nicht glauben das die CPU bei HD Skins in die Knie geht (flüssiger als DM800 aber nicht ultraflüssig genug) ...



    Ist dieses Problem bekannt oder müssen wir uns mit der trägen schwarzen FB abfinden :question_mark:

    but of course the problem is not related to skin
    because the speed and reaction from DM500HD with silver remote control is very good


    with all skins.
    Responses to a single push of a button with a black remote is also good


    What is not good is response to the long button pressure .


    If we have programmed button with short,2xbutton press and long button pressure


    this wil not work.

    This is a very important issue I hope that someone from the DMM
    respond to it because it directly affects the position of this otherwise excellent receivers on the market

    gerade deswegen hatte ich mir die DM500HD ja zugelegt, weil ich mir eigentlich sicher war das sie jegliche HD Skins flüssig darstellen kann :frowning_face:



    @ Matrix: du hast recht ich meine nicht wenn man einzeln drückt, sondern die Pfeiltaste gedrückt hält auf der schwarzen FB das es dann nach kurzer Zeit sofort anfängt zu stocken und man nicht von oben nach unten die einzelnen Sender bzw. Menüpunkte flüssig durchwählen kann, ohne das es anfängt zwischendurch zu hängen !
    Bei meiner älteren 7020 kannst du z.B. gedrückt halten wie du willst er ist nicht ein einziges mal am stocken und hört erst dann auf wenn man den Knopf los lässt !!



    ich hoffe das hier per Treiberupdate nachgebessert werden kann :thumbs_up:


    wäre mir sonst zu schade für so eine Multitalent 1A Dreambox wenn alles läuft, aber das wichtigste die Fernbedienung den Komfort stark einschränkt ...

    We must not confuse two different things


    One thing is slow skin
    and the other is box that does not react well to buttons pressure.


    I have not yet tested any HD skin that was slow on DM500HD


    with old silver remote.


    This box have fantastic power.


    DM500HD not react well to buttons pressure on black remote


    (long button press is nOK,short button press is I think OK)


    and this if possible should be corrected .


    This is not only problem with remote I have tested but with remote from other users.


    I think data bit patron is not the same at the two different remote controlerers


    Timing problem ??

    ich habs grad mit dem blauen SD Standard Enigma Skin getestet und auch da hängt die schwarze FB wenn man die Pfeiltasten gedrückt hält !!



    liegt also nicht am verwendeten Skin, sondern ein genereller Bug :frowning_face:


    hoffentlich liegt das an den Treibern und nicht an der FB selbst, ansonsten siehts für viele von uns schlecht aus ...

    Ist bei der 8000 auch so bescheiden, man kann nicht mal ein Bouquet anständig durchlaufen mit gedrückter FB, nach kurzer Zeit fängt diese an zu stocken und manchmal drückt die FB trotz immernoch der ein und derselben gedrückten Taste eine andere mittendrin.


    Wird sich bestimmt nichts ändern, bisher bedienen sich eh fast alle Dreams nicht besonders gut.
    Die Reichweite und Winkel sind ja eh mehr als Mangelhaft.

    ich mein die Probleme mit der trägen FB sind doch seit der DM800 bekannt !
    wieso wird bei einem nagelneuem Produkt kein großer Wert auf solche extrem wichtige Dinge wie die Zuverlässigkeit der Fernbedienung gelegt ??
    zugegeben sie reagiert besser als die DM800, aber leider immer noch nicht perfekt.


    ein starker IR Sensor an der Box selbst hätte es doch getan :frowning_face:


    hoffen wir mal das ein neuer Treiber erscheint der das Problem behebt oder zumindest deutlich verbessert ...

    we can not bind to other
    similar problems that some have.


    I do not believe that there is a global solution
    but the problem must be solved for specific DM500HD


    and black remote control.

    i have the same issues with the silver remote of my 7020 too !!


    so its not only related to the black remote ...


    there should come some driver updates for the perfomance and the remote control.


    kurz auf deutsch: ich hab dieselben probleme auch mit der silbernen FB der 7020 also ist das nicht nur auf die schwarze bezogen!
    mit einem treiberupdate sollte abhilfe geschaffen werden ...

    On all forums I was informed that all have problems with the black remote and DM500HD
    and not with silver remote and DM500HD
    I have personally tested with 4 silver remote controlers, and all work excellently with DM500HD

    ich habs jetzt nochmal ausführlicher einmal mit der schwarzen FB und der silbernen ausprobiert ...



    bei einer reichweite von 1-2m (sehr nah an dm500hd) reagieren beide fernbedienungen tadellos, sprich man kann den pfeil nach unten knopf gedrückt halten so lange man will ohne das es anfängt zu stocken (egal ob SD oder HD skin) !!


    verändert man den winkel nur ein wenig und geht auf größere distanz (3-4m) fängt die schwarze FB sofort an zu spinnen und der balken stockt am bildschirm vor sich hin :frowning_face:


    die silberne hingegen funktioniert auch bei größerer entfernung (gerade auf box zielend) ohne hänger, erst wenn man zusätzlich den winkel leicht verändert fängt auch die silberne an zu stocken ab 3 oder 4m !



    jetzt heisst es abwarten bis ein neuer treiber erscheint :thumbs_up: aus dm800 zeiten weiss ich das sich da was tun wird ...

    There's no way you can perform a long press command button


    if you have 1X short button press,2 x short press,and long press on the same button.



    If you Zap tru SAT list with continu press on button is the same bad


    if you compare with silver remote.


    All functions with a continu pressure on the button work very bad
    compared with the silver remote
    and distance from DM500HD not play almost no role.

    This is not true black and silver remote not working the same good from 1-2 m


    and for sure not "tadellos".


    Yes,on only one push of the button but not on continu


    and it is the biggest problem with this remote long/continu button function.



    So the problem is not so much in signal strength than in signal bit patron.

    yes you are right ! the silver remote control is reacting better than the black one BUT if you take your hand directly to the ir-sensor of the box its making no hang even with the black remote (only for 1 meter)


    @ 2-3m and more distance the black remote is getting crazy and starting to hang while pushing the button ! this is of course not acceptable but i think this could be solved with a "simple" driver update :smiling_face:

    I am more concerned about the inability to use all functions
    which I already wrote.Short>Short>Long button commands.



    Long button command is interpreted as twice short pressure on the button
    in this situation and not as long button command.
    I also think that the problem could be solved with driver update.

    Ich hab mir vorhin die aktuelle Experimental mit der neuen Kernel und dem SMP Treiber geflasht und muss sagen das es ordentlich läuft (keine Überlastung).


    Das Problem mit dem Verhalten der Fernbedienung wie es auch Matrix10 beschrieben hat besteht leider immer noch, aber ich bin zuversichtlich das du ein Treiberupdate (hoffentlich bald :D) zur Verfügung stellst ...
