cband vs. ku - can I make it works?

  • Ok, folks, my problem is that

I got two different dishes, 1 to cband and 1 to ku, I use a disec so
in my older box, I could saw it working perfect

In DB7025 I try to scan in sattelite menu, but it doesnt work, it only finds the ku sattelite....

Some hint to make it works ?

  • Ok, the trick is easy !

You choose the lnb A,B,C,D (i.e)

so you go to manual scan, and chosse a SINLE - ADVANCED - satellite, choose, the CBAND satellite and fill the LOF (i.e - 5150)- DO NOT put cband, otherway it only scand the cband dish ! , save and exit, scan.... it gonna find the low frequency (5150 for cband) and when it finishes it gonna find for ku....

    Work pretty well here !

    THANKZ FOR ALL

  • Hello,

    I have the same problem.
On LNB 1 : NSS 7 ku band
on LNB 2 : pas 10 Ku band
    on Lnb 3 : Nss 7 C band

When using simple settings in satconfig menu, only the Ku band channals are found. No C band
When i set manually lnb3 to C band in satconfig, i can scan the C band channels but there is no signal any more for the Ku antennas

I tried the trick descripted hereup, but it don't work on my DM 7025
    Firmware is latest dmm
    thanks
