Hi !

I'm trying to get a linksys wusb600n to work i think the chip inside is a rt2870, and have followd this
800 wireless n

Unpack ZIP
Install rt2870sta.tar.gz
Create directory /etc/Wireless/RT2870STA
Copy RT2870STA.dat to /etc/Wireless/RT2870STA and configure it (learn README_STA)
modprobe rt2870sta
Be happy;)

and also added rt2870sta to the modprobe in /etc/init.d/bootup

when i writes the command "lsmod | grep rt2870" i get

and i still doesnt work.

is ther someting else i should do, there is no ra0 created at boot.

Has anyone got this to work ?

this driver is not compiled for linksys wusb600n (i think)

is there any solution for Edimax ??????
dont remember exact model number - working(but inactive after restart) one looks like this

First i most say that I'm a newbie.

I think this usb wifi use Ralink RT2571W chipset. and the driver that comes with most images is for the RT73 chipset.

But i found this. http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=836577

if that doesnt wor you need to comilpe the driver.
