    Why would you want that? enigma is GPL, enigma2 isn't.


    The good thing of having a linux box is that you can run open software on it.

    @pietrg: you should either read the license agreement correct or make a much more precise conclusion...
    Cos's your's is not correct.


    to say it in short words...


    As long as you don't want your code to be comitted to official cvs it is and it stays completely gpl'ed.
    If you want your code in the cvs you agree to an proprietary licencse that allows closed-source binary software besides your code (i hope i said it correctly).


    So saying "enigma2 ist not under GPL" is simply not true!

    explains how to build an image with enigma2 for 7020 (it's quite new and some things do not work properly so don expect wonders...).


    I know it's in german... but maybe you find it somehow useful!

    Hi, thanks for the answer, now I will try to make an image for 7020 with enigma2... But another question, if enigma is under licence GPL, why the documentations for the developers are in German? Is an application for single Germans or is for all?
