Ok thx, but this is GStreamer related, it's not Enigma2 who is selecting this font, there is no skin xml where you can change the font, but I've talked about that with Ghost too.

with openatv and openpli as well bh and vti all working fine the subtitle is getting source from ae_AlMateen.ttf and it is displayed well even with existance of md_khmurabi_10.ttf
the issue is with dreamos only .
note in EMC i have set primary playback subtitle to arabic but it remain the font is from md_khmurabi_10.ttf

so if we can know the xml file responsible to assign the font for the subtitle to change it maybe it solve the matter or you can find the better solution to be used .

yes exactly movies with multiple language subtitles where we select the language needed .
either if it is from stream line or if the movie is in the hard disk . when we press audio then yellow to select the subtitle language arabic is the issue dur to this font .
so the arabic is taken from that font how can i assign to be always from ae_AlMateen.ttf

check please this video when i select the arabic how strage symbols appeared due to the font .

so such subtitles where to assign the font to remain always almateen

when i download GP4.1 it exist in usr/share/fonts these files :
ae_AlMateen.ttf - lcd.ttf - md_khmurabi_10.ttf - nmsbd.ttf - tuxtxt.ttf
if i delete md_khmurabi_10.ttf or if i replace it with ae_AlMateen.ttf and rename then the subtitles displayed well .
else it is displayed as funny non understandable.
but each time the box update the original md_khmurabi_10.ttf is back again and subtitle is spoiled .

the same happening with original skin and with zombi -shadow-FHD

by the way we have also another issue it could be easier to solve .
when we use vod with multiple subtitles the arabic does not display well as it is related to font ( md_khmurabi_10.ttf )
this font is not suitable for arabic language and when we replace it with ( ae_AlMateen.ttf ) everything works fine .

but the problem with each software update dreambox download again the same old font md_khmurabi_10.ttf .

the question please , where we can assign the font ( ae_AlMateen.ttf ) to work with vod subtitles instead of ( md_khmurabi_10.ttf ).

Ok sorry there seems to be a bug in EMC, I'll fix that next days.

But without EMC it is really working Ghost just verified that on a for him receivable channel on 1°W.

i have tried all possibilities without any success ,
if you cannot get nilesat for test i can give access to any box model to fix the issue .

First of all do a full reboot to be surten you have loaded all changes to EMC

Then If you know what channel holds the epg stream you must zap to that channel for downloading new epg.

Also delete the epg.db file from /etc/enigma2 to be sure you have the lates epg.

is this enough sir for you about terms and clones .

2- changed GUI to Arabic still did not help
3- deleted EMC still did not help

the EPG language remain English as default .
tested with MBC package on Nile Sat as it has 2 languages on EPG English and Arabic.

I already gave you the hints how to change it, and what the reason is why you might not change it, because you have installed EMC and EMC is enforcing the GUI language as default, so just go to the EMC language setup and change the language to your preferred one!

And don't tell me it isn't working, it does!

As said that is not correct the EPG language can be switched e.g. with EMC in language menu.

And without EMC the language is automatically mapped to GUI language. Means GUI arabic = EPG arabic

Enhanced Movie center does not have any language option in setup
why the user should be forced to change gui language to get benefit from an option send from channel provider by satellite ?
and when used any enigma2 image the option exist , or when used any cheap box none linux the option exist also , the question is :
why with dreambox 2.5 and 2.6 does not exist
very simple question .

hope to be added soon as it is required for many users.

dreambox os does not have this option to switch between the live epg languages sent by the satellite providors , while it exist in enigma2 and working perfectly but not with dreambox os . and we hope dreambox add this feature soon coz it is required and it should be basic option.

i Hope you stay on the subject instead talking about other official distributor .
Dear , Dream multimedia DXB is an official distributor for Dreambox products since 15 years when new dm7000 was launched and i am quiet sure before you have heard about dreambox brand.

the subject here is not about dream multimedia trading coz our name and history of trading and fighting clones with dream GMBH is beyond all discusions in forums.

the problem is the red light issue and the management know that we have send to them more then 20 boards for replacements having same issue and no need to mention now when we got them back, unless the admin want me to give more details in public. ( 20 boards plus from one distributor is an issue my friend need attention).
and for your info and everyone info no client will wait months to get his box replaced so it is duty of all manufacturer to support their official distributor with extra parts for after sales support unless they can fix themselves within few days.

now about this issue it is clearly from the log it is saying the box not original and Dream official Dealer in Egypt facing this issue with several boxes and he claim he is quiet sure Boards are original,we will check with him all logs about this case to find out with him how this can happen and Dream management is aware of this matter before this post exist.

the box crash after selecting the skin

it is almost 4 months and we are reading the epg from down to up .

is it that dificult to fix this small problem ????

well the mater need to be more patient , as i find out that some boxes has been solved by the update and some not ,
the funny issue is 2 receivers from the same cartoon means same production one is okay and second is not .
anyway the mater has been reported to the right people and a second box who has still the issue has been conected and waiting for new update to comes up soon as i hope .

note : i use 105 cm dish antenna for nielsat and normaly i get 14.00 db but this particular frequency is week i get only 9.80 db .

this freq issue 10873 has been found on almost all hd receivers brands , cuberevo , abcom , humax , and most of chinese brands , thanks for dmm support for beeing the fastest who start to find solutions while others ignoring or not discovered yet their boxes problem .
