    DiSEqC 1.1 Switches are different and some like SW101D has changeable modes,
    with some modes it works with only 1.0/2.0 protocol commands with some modes only 1.1 commands,
    by default SW101D programmed to work with bouth


    p.s.
    still havent found solution how to change diseq mode by use dreambox
    HELP! Is there any ability send manualy Diseq commands?

    dm8k has that problem in more crime form, only with RC of dm7020 its useable more or less



    but that isnt first problem which is ignored by DMM

    • 1. show sat position(**E or **W) of selected channel when browsing channels list
      have fix by self - Python_patcher.ph


    • 2. add soundtrack priority (like in E1)

      3.e when you open some bouquet where current channel presented then move focus on it (like in E1)
      3.f when browsing channel list show names of bouquets which already have that service added
      3.g move folder [Current Transponder] to the top or bottom off Sattelittes list instaed somewhere at the midle


    • 4. remember transponders which cant be received in sattellites_ignore.xml or sattellites_failed.xml
      and skip them on next scan
      btw. cant understand why after online update always is lost my edited sattelites.xml(without Astra 2D and 36E without African frequencies)


    • 5. time synchronisation from list of manualy selectet transponders(user trusted) or from i-net time.server.com


    • 6.a. EPG maping from another channel. in case some chanel has longer program table, but other has better picture or prefered for openig
      6.b. export/import EPG for particular channels.
      i would export epg for some channels of cable operator which sends in DVB-T to users with DVB-S where EPG isnt present
      (please with E1<->E2 compatibility)


    • 7. (only on 8k posible) chose audiotrack from another channel
      example: for waching F1 in HD but audiotrack choose native from another service
      maybe some changeable delay option must be present there


    • 8. FAST BOOT/REBOOT option. when box is configured and nomore new hardware planed then
      can be markt one checkbox in Shutdown menu and then dreambox dont spent time on checking all posible hardware, but boot from prepaired list with previous present harware


    • 9. "native" video resolution for option [Display 4:3 content as:] instead 4:3+blackbars
      fixed by Ghost - [SOLVED 99%] DVI(HDMI) can't handle most used aspectratio

    Big RC of dm7000;7020;7025;600;800 can be used for that models plus dm500 and dm8000


    frirs small black/second biger stupid RC of dm500 can be used only for dm500


    last small silver RC of dm500 can be used only for dm500 in case image in box is enough fresh


    Big+extra keys row RC of dm8000 works only with dm8k, but it is so buggy in case Tv is ON (8k works much better with RC of 7020)



    sorry, dont know anything about 500+ and 100 models

    it will be wery useful in case dreambox+philips_lcd cause
    a) dreambox remote control becomes crazy when philips connected HDMI-DVI
    b) for digital sources not abled beautiful function AutoZoom on Philips


    so sad when top sat receivers arent compatible with top lcd tvs

    in case you planed 8k dream you have to chose twin output LNBs to able useage of second tuner


    troug diseq switch you can connect LNBs how many you want(i stoped on 25)


    on each dish better instal more than one LNB

    i use passive diseq switch SW101D

    by default it is programmed to mode 4 and works with all protocols *.0 and *.1,
    but when it programmed to mode 5 it works only with pritocol 1.1
    in that case you can instal other protocols diseq swiches before it or after


    my instalation:
    dreambox <-> switch1x4(Protocol 1.0) <-> 3x switch1x10(protocol 1.1)
    in that way i have 25xLNB connected
    for Enigma1 must be set "Swap Commands"
    for Enigma2 must be set "Command order=committed,uncommitted,toneburst"

  • DVB-T: terrestrial.xml for Lettland,Riga,Baltcom(MMDS)


    and that names can be reserved for future use
    "Riga/Baltcom_Optika(lv)" - same cable operator but sends DVB-T signal in different band for some areas
    "Riga/IZZI(lv)" - another cable operator which use DVB-T modulation on cable
    "Riga/Air(lv)" - neverendig testing on DM43(650 MHz); DM45 (666 MHz); DM48(690 MHz); DM59(778 MHz);
    DM66(834 MHz)

    werent easy edit terrestrial.xml without explanations in it, maybe someone can add them by default at begining of file(for satellites.xml too):
    this is my, but there can be some mistakes

    and in that case i would like see ability for delete services from OSD (single channel as in Enigma1 and aditional 'All new Found')
    also will be helpful new feature which able sort chanels by transponders (like by prividers)

    no, it is tuner problem(maibe spaun is less sensitiv)


    i conected two dreams(tuned to same transponder) to one LNB
    dream1<----dream2<----LNB
    time at time bouth had signal loss, but when one is in standby then signal were ok
