And Audio PIP is open Source, and actually is just a dumb way of having a Full screen PIP, so feell free to chnage it and adapt it to your needs.

It is possible to record only sound by the way if you have the correct audio pids.

if the solution requires two tuners, many Dreambox like 500HD or 800SE, will have the same problem, because they only have one tuner...

Just another hint - via alsa sound interface you can play nicely sound from another source while watching a movie.

But you should start asking such questions yourself instead of always asking for help.

Sorry but thats a lie, almost every hardware older than mid 2010 (thats the date when E-AC-3 was the first time standardized by the DVB consortium) doesn't even recognize E-AC-3 (e.g. Humax, Technisat), only some newer models support it but all new products.

And again you can't request a feature which wasn't even available 4 years ago, tell me another brand which is still releasing updates for a 4 years old STB.
Nevertheless it will be available for new hardware for sure...

Tecnhisat and Humax aren't competence with Dream Multimedia. I mean brands like Vu, Gigablue, etc, etc.

I think the solution to this problem is to sell our dreambox and buy another brand which has audio DD+ support (Vu, Gigablue...), because I think DMM will not ever buy that license and if we want to see the HD channels with DD + audio of Spain, DMM is not going to give support to this...
