I have been forced, reluctantly, to replace my display due to Flourescent backlight failure.
I have fitted the OLED kit and I now have a viewable display.

I would like a schematic of the display board and datasheet for the display, as I would like to use it as a display for my home central heating programmer.

Is it a smart display with a pre-programmed (basic) character set library or do you have to generate characters as X-Y or bitmap?

Any answers would be greatly appreciated.
