compiled image but must have missed at step

  • I just compiled my first image for dm7020


    I uploaded the nfi file via http.


    but it won't boot:
    showing the dvd elite screen and the black/white stripes


    what did i miss ???

    I build the image with bitbake dreambox-image with no errors


    files are in /build/tmp/deploy/images


    3 files and i flash the box from browser with the nfi image


    box boot and after boot screen everything on tv is grey and black stripes


    shuld i do something with the other 2 files:
    boot.jffs2
    rootfs.jffs2
    ????

  • what's the size of the image? it should be something around 18 or 19 mb. you only need the nfi-file to flash.

    The file size is 19.7 mb


    and it's for DM7020
    I have tried to build image 3 times now and i have no errors
    But i get same error:
    I get blue boot logo from elitedvb after 5 sec.
    it get grey/white and after 5 sec. again black/white stripes on screen


    LCD display stands at DHCP /flash/Image.elf

  • You have posted in the forum Developer-Enigma2.


    From the size - I assume it is an Enigma1 image.


    Can you connect with ftp/telnet using the default DHCP ip ?


    If so - you can get the enigma.log by telnet.

  • i tried to downgrade my monotone to version 31 and started from scratch.


    but now im stock with flex. it get this:
