dm800 tuner fail

    Please provide some information about the hard- and software used.


    Box type: dm800
    GUI (enigma1/enigma2): enigma2
    Firmware version:latest official from the dream d/l site


    your question i have started to loose channels on my dm800 for example premiere is missing i rescaned the sat no premiere, i d/l channel settings turn to premiere i get tuner fail .the channels are ok on my dm600 so it is not a dish problem.
    i could recive the channels up to 2 days ago but now nothing
    can anybody help

    I have a very similar problem, service scanner does not find anything.
    The dish has been set up before by previous tuner and there is no problem.
    I have tried to find services with direct connection to dish and also via diseq 1.1, no success.
    Any suggestions please?

    unfortunately the tuner is dead
    i got good response from the support team of dreambox multimedia team
    they will send me the replacement tuner


    can't wait till the moment i will be able to really use my DM800

    i got a replacement box BUT it has lasted a week and tuner fail again so i rang the suppler and i have to return the box AGAIN

    I had a "tuning failed" problem,
    I solved it by changing out my diseqc with a Spaun diseqc.
    Now it works perfect :grinning_squinting_face:


    I see other people reporting that Axing switches work to.
    (Triax swiches does not work well)
