DM500T tuner.

    I recently had a problem with a new dm500t not been able to receive
    channels on transponders in the frequency range 250-300Mhz approx.
    The dreambox works perefectly for other frequencies.I returned the unit under warranty, unforunatly it was returned to me with the same
    problem. Before i return it again I have a few questions...


    My questions are
    a) Does anyone have the same problem tuning to transponders in the 250-300Mhz freq range?


    b) My friend thinks it's a problem with the device driver for the tuner. Could he be right?


    c) Does the 7025 and the 600 have the same problem?



    By the way, The signal strength is perfect. The is no problem and zero BER on other transponders. A bugdet PC dvb-t card can recieve transponders in the 250-300Mhz frequency range prefectly ( and with zero BER). After speaking to a friend, Its seems that a lot of dm500t's have this problem to some degree.

    loks like hyperband isnt enable (maybe by firmware maybe by hardware)


    had same problem with Philips panel 37PF9731 - analogue were able to receive from hyperband but terrestial werent
    got only last(CH21) frequency of my cable operator
