I just bought lcd tv and it is got PIP function. It is got one tuner and for some reason PIP only works if I am watching a picture from device that sends it in progressive scan.
Is dreambox capable of providing progressive scan?
Is that hardware issue or can it be provided with some software modification?
And if it is not possible at all on my dm7000 will it be available on dm8000 perhaps?

There are products out there called 'progressive scan converters', so if you get no luck, you could always buy one of these. - e.g. Google for "BLS2000 progressive scan".
