I have DM800 connected to the internet using WIFI. When I try to browse youtube or other sites with media content, the response become very slow and hardly moves. When I do Google or Facebook it works fine. Any clue why is that? Do I need to configure something differently?

No, you cannot do anything but to replace the DM800
The DM800 is quite old (production stopped more than 4 years ago) and doesn't have enough computational power to do such fancy things as fast web browsing. The processor is just too slow.
