best image dm7080

    just got a dm7080 for 2 weeks ago


    nice Wonder, but not complete to take the place from my dm8000 as planned.



    What is best image to use at this moment?



    I want a image, that bennefits from the new oe2,2


    but it must be possible to install extra plugins


    and most importent, stable



    my dm8000 was very stable with newnigma2 i want my dm7080 to be the same

    DM8000hd , DM800hd , DM7080

    first of all, the 7080HD is still brand new, so you can't expect the same stable situation as with the 8000
    but the 7080HD is image is already quite stable, although it's normal that new features can cause some issues



    DMM original image is the base, and plugins can be installed (don't understand that question from you)


    other images are based on this original image (merlin, oozoon, newnigma, ...)



    exception: some images (as the OpenATV) use an old "Enigma2", they claim the advantages of installing existing ipk-plugins,
    but they can't install new plugins, nor use the new functionality availiable (or still to come)
