Hi,
I have been trying to flash my new DM500HD box a few hours now.
Both via http and dreamup with no success.
HTTP = I choose file and nothing happens when i press Flash
DreamUP = It stalls on Calculating Checksum and nothing more happens.
What should I do to fix this?!

Have you tried to use a different browser? And which second stage loader is installed on your Dreambox?
Flashing via Browser:
This is a known compatbility issue with old Bootloaders on the Box and new Browsers. Opera or an old Firefox portable edition should do the trick. When you flashed the new secondstageloader #84 (you can find it on http://dreamboxupdate.com/) any browser will work again.
DreamUp:
The freezing on "Calculating Checksum" is most of the time caused by some anti virus or firewall software.
I have the same problem but with Dreambox 7020-S
Wasnt first time i flashed it , but today i have no idea why cant flash it via http and dreamup , any idea for 7020-S ?

I see something more right now , when i connect the Lan cable to DB7020 cant boot and have msg on LCD Boot #35 ant then the ip ********** and /flash/zimage.elf .
I have to dissconnect the cable , and restart DB7020 in case to boot normally .
