How i can turn off just tuner?

    Most of the time i use my Dm-500HD as a media player or using torrent client


    I have experience on DVB-s2 card on PC for losing sensitivity on frequency when it works for long time


    So for preventing this I am looking for method or command to turn off Dm-500HD tuner


    Is it possible?

    Normally your tuner should not get less sensitive when being switched on for a prolonged time.
    I would use the excelent RMA service of DMM and send the tuner for repair.
    Alternatively you can hibernate the whole box during the time you don't need it.
    I don't think that the tuner can be switched off individually from the box.
