DM8000 remote control

    I have it since close to two years now
    rec is perfect (or marvellows)
    well I cannot tell the same for the remote control
    During buttom pressing, nothing happens; only pressing with force was acting the command
    I had to open it and clean the contacts (with no aggressive agent)
    gone fine for few months, but now is quite bad the same. Really surprised that such rec have quite bad remote control
    have also dm 7000, from 2005: at end of last year start having problems during buttom pressing.


    question is
    how to cleand circuit & rubber part and how to lubricate it? trying to implement the performance

    known problem, use boardsearch with "Remote Control"

    Two weeks ago I bought a remote Omikron but does not work with Dream-8000 Perhaps because of this that my dream is to produce 2009 (20090204)- First production- with serial ********03988


    The remote omikron works with TV...... Please help me for this problem....


    Also Explain how the DIP-Switch works?
