Hi,
Ik have a Draembox 500 HD and i like to buy an externay hardrive to connet to my box. There is a lot of different drivers and I hoop somebody can help me to chose the right one. I think 1 TB external disk will be enough but if it isn't please advise me which one i should buy. I'm really new in use of Dreambox and any advise is more than welcome. Thank you in advance.

You need a harddrive with its own power source and eSata connector. eSataP (with power over esata) isn't supported by the DM500HD.

I have a harddrive, however when I try to record on the Dreambox 500hd crashes. What could be wrong?
