my dream was dead 
when I plug the power supply only mother board red smd led will be shine and geen or red panel led is off
dream up not detect it
i dont know how to fix it :((
i really sad
please some body help me to repair it .
i cant send it to manufacture because in my country satellite is illegal
may be my box is fake

I have exactly same problem ,waiting for de=ream-multimedia reply
very bad really to have a dead box in just few weeks ,not good for sales , this is happening all over the world ,many 500HD are dead

I had noticed couple days ago, that DMM is working to solve this issue and new firmware will release soon...
Moreover, I heard also DMM give instructions to all dealers to replce any defect DM 500HD with new one, till this issue solve..

I wish you were one the officials when saying that .
by the way , May I ask what was your source about this? Should I consider this as a DMM's statement?
