mpeg2 and mediaplayer

    Hello,


    in the past this worked just fine but since the lates, maybe 1 or 2 before, release playing standard mpeg2 files shocks and the audio sync is very awful, first audio and after ca 3 seconds the movie....!!!


    Has anyone any idea how to solve this or is this problem solved in next release?

    which kind of hardware?


    For 7025 you need latest drivers from dreamboxupdate.com.


    Try our release candidate. With this here it works okay.


    The current gstreamer version is very cpu load unfriendly .. so at the moment MPEG1/MPEG2 Playback isnt working good.


    In the OE 1.5 release branch older gstreamer versions are in use.. this works much better..


    Sorry.. but our Mediaplayer (or say better gstreamer) is not realy stable since we have changed to decodebin2.. and i dont know when its stable again.


    We and the gstreamer people working on that.


    When you need a good working version.. then use the latest release candidate or build images on OE 1.5 release branch base.

    Hi,


    than you should use the latest Release Candidate for DM800.


    Its not a good ideat to install only a different Version of gstreamer. Because enigma2 is compiled against the gstreamer header files.


    Use a different version of gstreamer than the version used to compile enigma2 can cause very strange effects...
