We can whine all we want…. The reality is that Dream is gone, models are sold out and in a few years all the boxes are defective… They will simply sink into oblivion.. Nothing more than a page in history.
There is absolutely no reason to develop anything for these boxes. Just use them as long as you can/wish. Viewing TV and recording as long as the box is working….

Für die DM8000 ist die 84 die letzte… Glaub schon ab 2011… Also ein weilchen her… Die DM800SE v2 lief bis 89.. Die DM-One und DM-Two nützen ein ‘Rescue-Loader’ 1.06 war die letze offizielle…
Leider nichts geholfen. Anscheinent macht mein Laptop nicht mehr mit…. Keins der Dreamboxen machen noch verbindung… DM-One UHD (2*), Dreambox Two UHD, DM920. Windows 10

Einfach! Dreambox existiert nicht mehr. Die Nahme ist verkauft worden an HM-Sat GmbH und SatKing. Die DreamTV mini und DreamPlay UHD sind EXAKT baugleich aber die Firmware ist nicht austauschbar. Für die DreamTV mini kleine updates seit 2023. Die DreamPlay UHD seit august 2024 auch nicht mehr obwohl es noch Fehler gibt.. Die letzten Dreamboxen wurden von Leontech angefertigt (Hong-Kong).
The Dream One doesn’t have a CI interface! A ciplushelper is therefore completely useless. I also noticed that a 6 Mhz card (Irdeto default) doesn’t work on the DM One (tried several).. Don’t know why (and by now no-one cares anyway, since all developers are gone - as is Dream Property)
My sad experience is that Satco won’t do anything! It’s sold ‘as is’ just like its predecessor DreamTV mini. No updates at all. Now 6 months since last update. I would not be surprised to see an advert with the new Play Dream UHD V2.. Same box and newer software just to be able to trick people to buy it….
For me the Dream era has ended in 2024…. All boxes given away as they are now useless… Use my new SmartTV to use Apps for IPTV. Works like a charm….

zombi Habe mal reingeschaut aber keine Updates für die dreambox Play. Stirbt genau so wie die DreamTV mini.
Habe ein Hybrid empfänger gekauft mit ‘legales’ Android TV drauf. Google Playstore geht bestens. Alle IPTV Apps Amazon, Canal+, Videoland, Netflix laufen ohne Probleme und das auf Anhieb..
Dreamboxen sind jetzt alle verschenkt worden.

I have given away my recent Dreamboxes. After the closure of Dream there is no need to keep using them. No updates and so no progression. They now work ‘as is’ and that’s it. After a few years all boxes are defective and Dreamboxes will be a thing of the past…
