    I have given away my recent Dreamboxes. After the closure of Dream there is no need to keep using them. No updates and so no progression. They now work ‘as is’ and that’s it. After a few years all boxes are defective and Dreamboxes will be a thing of the past…

    Irgentwann geht meine DM920 auch mal kaputt. Dann ist auch für mich das Ende von Dream und alles drum und rum.


    Ohne Dreamboxen hat Schlechtemine wohl kaum Arbeit 🤩

    Habe vom feed die folgende Dateien herunter geladen und installiert:


    samba_4.4.5-r0.10_armhf.deb

    samba-base_4.4.5-r0.10_armhf.deb

    samba-common_4.4.5-r0.10_armhf.deb


    DM920 UHD neu gestartet und /etc/samba/smb.conf auf Wunsch geändert. Nochmal neustart gemacht und sehe da! DM920 ist wieder da im Windows 10 Heimnetz…


    Also gelungen….

  • Samba läuft nicht nach neuflash

    Nach einem neuflash läuft Samba nicht mehr. Letztes 4.3-3 Image drauf. Im Log immer die Angabe das Samba process mit ein Fehl exit-code abgebrochen wird. Samba-base deinstalliert und wieder installiert aber Fehler bleibt…. Wer bietet Abhilfe?

  • Dreambox Play UltraHD Fragen ???

    Ich habe die Dream Play UHD und die DreamTV mini rev2. Die Play UHD hat Google Play Store und da lassen sich die Plugins leicht installieren. Die DreamTV mini het nur Aptoide und die meisten Plugins gehen da nicht (kommt immer 'blabla muss über Google Play installiert werden' was es ja nicht gibt. ). Restlich ist es ein Android Box aus tausende. Nicht was ein andere Box auch nicht könnte.

  • SD Card 32 Gb not seen

    I followed your suggestion.. Inserted the SD card in my Windows laptop. Used ‘Disk Management’ to wipe the partitions. Created a new volume and used full formatting (not quick). Inserted it in the Dreambox Play UHD and now it works.

  • SD Card 32 Gb not seen

    Just installed 32 GB SD card in the Play.dreambox.UHD. It is detected and asked to format.. Ticked yes and all procederen without errors. Restarted the box and the only info 'card was succesfully removed' and 'no storage found' when trying to record..


    How to proceed?

    Ich bin nicht gewöhnt das mann 2 Tasten gleichzeitig drücken muss auf eine FB! Meistens (immer) gibt das Probleme beim senden.. Stuck Key Probleme.. Ein einfacher Hinweis für ein solche Ausnahme könnte mann doch wohl geben denke ich...
