Simple, check the ‘Insolvenzregister’ and check multiply ‘former’ dreambox dealers.. Every week certain dreambox variant are labeled ‘out of stock’ or ‘für längere Zeit nicht lieferbar’. Leontech doesn’t produce Dreamboxes anymore…

And off course the complete silence of the current owner(s) of this forum…. More news in a few weeks was their opening statement. We are months further and guess what? Nothing… No statement, no declaration of any sorts only feeding to the rumours just like Dream Property did….

Simple.. Dream doesn't exist anymore. In a few years dreamboxes won't exist anymore so the need for a DreamOS is futile..

As I mentioned earlier….. Stocks are sold off to unsuspecting buyers who only know Dreambox for obvious reasons… No hardware support, no warranties, no spares… Dream is over and out (as are most of the E2 manufacturers). It’s a passed station, overtaken by modern alternatives. It was fun while it lasted…..

Ich kann/will nicht immer das Forum lesen. Macht für mich erst Sinn wenn etwas nicht mehr läuft oder es Probleme gibt. Wenn mann nur Dreamboxen besitzt vielleicht noch zu verstehen. Mit mehrere Boxen eine rein unmögliche Sache wenn auch noch 40/50 Stunden der Woche gearbeitet werden muss.. Man erwartet einfach nicht das ein Update aus offizielle Quelle die Box versaut.

Und ist ein Forum nicht da um Hilfe zu leisten?

Also upgrade erneut angestossen und in PuTTY apt-get -f -y upgrade enigma2 enigma2-bin ausführen lassen.

Alle Dreamboxen laufen wieder auch nach ein Software update..

Backups erneut erstellt und Emergency-SD und Recovery-SD angefertigt…..

Gestern versucht meine DM-One UHD und DM-Two UHD zu aktualisieren. Mit <Menu-Einstellungen-SoftwareUpdate> die aktualisierung gestartet. Lief alles ohne Fehler durch. Neustart mit ‘Ja’ bestätigt. Nach neustart nur ein blinkendes Rote LED. Gerät stromlos gemacht und neu gestartet. Diesmal ein blinkendes blaue LED und weiter nix…

DM-One UHD #1 mit AIO, Gutemine Feed, RL 113Y und GPT Partition und Barry Allen (alles auf letzten Stand.

That’s not going to happen anymore. Silent for months now… I am truly believing that these sites are only online to sell the remaining stock of Dreamboxes.. No official support, no spare-parts and no RMA (defective receivers were returned to their owners without repair!)….

Let it sink in that Dream simply does not exist anymore….

Dream Property GmbH is liquidated. Emplyees are sacked and there are no developers active. Why this forum has been ressuracted is beyond me. After months still no official statement. Same for the official Dream support website.

Das board ist anscheinent nur aktiviert worden. Vielleicht nur um die Restvorrat verkaufen zu kōnnen und darauf noch Support liefern zu können. Moderatoren gibt es nicht mehr.

Nehme ein richtige Verstärker (z.B. Tratech N52) und tausche die Coax Kabel sammt Stecker aus für 4G/LTE geschützte Variante...

Fürchte einstrahlung ist ihr größtes Problem.

Wieso codemäßig gleich? Die One läuft mit OE 2.6 und die DM920 auf OE 2.5

Wenn's um die Tunermöglichkeiten geht ist die DM920 die bessere Wahl..

Warum sollte er das gute Stück zurück haben wollen. Mainboard ist hin er kann damit nichts mehr anfangen.

Gerade deswegen nūtze ich MultiBoot. Kann dann einfach DreamOS 2.6 booten und die VOD Dienste nũtzen. Muss aber dazu sagen das Netflix etwas geändert hat und daher jetzt nicht geht.

That's the problem with Dream. They have never communicated directly so they are the root cause if the rumours. They wouldn't even communicate their bankruptcy (if). You would simply get a 404 message when their site is gone.
