I have this strange problem and you may be able to help me.

The tuner in my DM800 is an ALPS BSBE1 C01A/D01A (DVB-S) as reported by the system. The problem is that I am not able to tune in to the DVB-S2 broadcasts on any transponders at all. SD broadcasts are fine.
I asked other people whether they have other type of tuner and yes, most have the ALPS BSBE2 (DVB-S2) and they do not have problems with DVB-S2 broadcasts.

My questions:
- is it possible that my tuner is of the wrong type (not capable for DVB-S2)?
- why would the Dreambox DM800 HD (designed for HD TV) be supplied with such a tuner?
