I have searched, but did not find my same problem on the other threads mentioning a DVB-S2 scan problem. Also, I am not fluent in German, so I do not understand most of the posts.

I am not using a diseqc switch, only a positioner box between the DM800 and the dish (C band). The symbol rates I am going for are all under 30000 (29270, 29125, etc.).

In a nutshell, I have not been able to scan in ANY DVB-S2 channels to date. The DVB-S works fine with HD or SD content. I have tried several sats and TP's which come in fine with other receivers, but have had ZERO luck with the DM800.

I have tried the July 2, 2008 experimental build, ran the updates, and even installed the DVB utils via telnet, but still the same. Never any finds on DVB-S2.

Also, the SNR seems to be a bit low on the DVB-S channels. Could just be software I suppose.

I am not one to give up easily, but this has me pretty beat. I welcome any suggestions.

Also, serial is 5419 in case it matters.
