Two weeks ago when I was watching tv

my 7020suddenly stopped the picture, I thought that it was blocked, so I turned

the power off using the button in the back, when I put it back on

there was light on the display but nothing else, no communication trough

serial or lan.

I send the receiver to the store that sold it to me in August 2007

they answered saying that the warranty didn't cover this problem because as

they say it was caused by a "electrical power surge" or "storm"

In that day there was no storm and my satellite dish is protected with wiring to prevent electric discharges from thunder lightnings,

If the problem was an electric power surge normally my tv would burn also

and the receiver should be completely death, but my receiver still ad the display on

What I'm asking is, did anybody had the same problem?
