cp /home/luci/db7025/source/file-4.23.tar.gz to /home/luci

./configure - make - make install as root

cp the 4 files in /usr/local/share/file/ to /home/luci/db7025/build/tmp/work/file-native-4.23-r1/file-4.23/magic

bitbake file-native

or mv /home/luci/db7025/openembedded/packages/file/file-native_4.23.bb, file_4.23.bb to file_4.23.bbbake, file-native_4.23.bbbake or so and use file-native_4.16.bb for the dm7025

Hello,

using a old version is not really a solution.

Had the same problem here today.

a clean rebuild of the dreambox-image and a rm -rf build/tmp solved the problem.

Indeed, an old magic file from your staging directory will be used, if it exists. And that version misses a few new types.
