Problem networking a Dreambox 7020S

  • Hello,

I have a Dreambox 7020S bought a couple days ago. Sorry I do not know yet how to identify the Enigma or firmware version.

I am trying to connect this dreambox to my home network via a router. I already have a few machines connected and working on this network. I have fixed IPs. When I check the network settings for the Dreambox on my television, the config seems fine. IP is 192.168.1.67

However, when I try to ping the Dreambox from another machine on the home network, I get the following error message:

    PING 192.168.1.67 (192.168.1.67) 56(84) bytes of data.

    #48 41 43 41 43 41 43 41 42

I also tried to switch cables with a working machine, but the result is the same.

    What can I do?

THanks in advance for your replies and suggestions.

  • Looking around, I saw the thread below, withdrew my CAM, network works like a charm.

    Very slow network.

Needless to say, I do not consider this solution to be a great success. I am left with a useless CAM and associated perfectly legal and official card...
