Brand new straight from box. Am in the UK, Scotland.

GUI (enigma1/enigma2): Enigma1 (i think)
Firmware version: 1.6.2

I would like to rearrange me channels via the Ethernet or Serial Port way. Cos it takes too long to do it with the remote control. I can't even enter the FTP it takes ages to connect to it i put in the local IP address such as 192.168.0.2:8085 as the port 8085 is default. the username and password is the default too. The server is running.

Any ideas which can help me please
