your question I have just bought a 500c but i can get it to find a transponder when i do a scan.
I have a starview box which works fine, so there is no problem with the cable. On the starview box it allows me to select a supllier like NTL which is a sr6887, on the dream box though it doesent allow me to selecta cable provide and the on sr6900 & 6875 it doesent find no channels.
What do i do to get this box working?
