Diseqc switching

    Please provide some information about the hard- and software used.

    I have two dishes connected via a diseqc switch, the problem is it doesn't allways switch from dish to dish all the time,after three separate switches i can only think that this is a fault with dreamboxes, i have done loads of reading and i haven't heard of anyone that has done this with total success.From cold its a total waist of time but once its warm its much better ,does anyone have an answer to this.

    I have a db500s and I used to have problems with slow switching between satellites. I have very long cable runs that did not help the situation. My problem has gone away since I spent the extra money and went to a Spaun diseqc switch.


    My switch is outside on the roof and I live in a northern climate. The spaun is a great switch and comes complete with a water/weatherproof casing to keep the cable connections out of the weather. I think is it worth the investment. It now switches very quickly even with the long cable runs.
