3 LNBs + DiSEqC + dreambox500s connection problem

    Hello people !


    I have a connection problem with the following configuration:


    -dreambox 500s (gemini 2.40)
    -DiSEqC 2.0 4x1 switch (Edision)
    -dish 90 cm
    -3 LNBs (Alps) mounted at multiholder:


    1st (center) at HotBird (13E)
    2nd (left) at Eutelsat W2 (16E)
    3rd (left) at Astra (19,2E)



    When I connect any of these LNBs directly (one by one) with the reciever they work fine but when I connect them all together using the DiSEqC switch the following happens:


    1. The center LNB connected at port no. 1 of the switch still works fine (SNR and AGC rates above 90% + BER rate is zero)


    2. 2nd and 3rd LNB (connected at port 2 and 3 of the switch) are working incorrectly i.e. signal quality is poor (SNR and AGC rates are around 70% + hi BER rate) esspecially at lower frequencies and the reception of the major transponders are lost - I get no Canal+, Cartoon.net, PlayboyTV :loudly_crying_face:



    I am using the following sattelite configuration:
    -4 sattelites via DiSEqC OPT A/B
    1. HotBird (13E) AA
    2. Eutelsat W2 (16E) AB
    3. Astra (19,2E) BA


    What could be the problem ?


    Can it be that the dreambox 500s is incompatible with the DiSEqC 2.00 standard switch?
